EASY INTEGRATION

ThermoFlexX imagers are engineered to be open format, supporting any image resolution and seamlessly integrating with any workflow or RIP capable of generating industry-standard 1-bit TIFF files. Closed file formats like LEN can be eortlessly converted. Moreover, these imagers are compatible with all digital plates, regardless of brand or type, including solvent, water-washable, or thermal plates.

POWERFUL AUTOMATION

Manual plate handling is a significant contributor to plate damage. Consequently, the ThermoFlexX 60 is equipped to automatically load new plates, unload imaged ones to the FlexTray or unload them to a Catena-E UV LED exposure unit. The subsequent preloaded plate can seamlessly replace the previous one without any need for operator intervention!

INDUSTRY LEADING PRODUCTIVITY

The imaging system combines its optimum quality with superior speed. The standard productivity up to 6m2/h (at 2540dpi) can be doubled up by the unique dual head imaging concept up to max 6m/h at 2540dpi, while offering pixel-by-pixel accuracy. The system can be switched to work with 1 head for redundancy.

PROTECTED TO PREVENT DOWNTIME

A plate flying off  because of loading errors can happen on any imager. These accidents can seriously damage the imaging unit leaving it out of operation for days as a consequence. A protection plate, installed on a separate rail system intercepts impact from a plate at any time.

ULTIMATE ACCURACY FOR PERFECT IMAGING

Build on a robust base platform, the imaging system is driven by linear motors with ultimate accuracy. The direct drive drum motor guarantees continuous speeds without fluctuations.

INTERNAL MEASUREMENT FOR PIECE OF MIND

The revolutionary internal measurement cell enables automatic laser calibration, ensuring optimal consistency. Additionally, this system enables remote measurements for streamlined remote servicing.

MULTI RESOLUTION

The ThermoFlexX supports 1-bit TIFF formats across all standard resolutions. These resolutions can be seamlessly combined on a single plate, with the automatic resolution switching system seamlessly executing the switch in the background. At the highest resolution of 5080dpi, quality standards are elevated to new heights, delivering smaller screens, finer details, and sharper text and line-work.

CONVENIENT OPERATION

The ThermoFlexX 60 imager boasts a contemporary user interface, seamlessly navigable via a premium rotating touch screen. This interface presents machine controls, a comprehensive job list complete with parameters, and an intuitive imaging preview, ensuring effortless operation.

FLEXTRAY

Recognizing manual plate handling as a primary contributor to plate damage, the Flextray was designed. This versatile mobile table, adjustable in height and tilt, streamlines plate handling and transportation with remarkable ease.

WOODPECKER SURFACE SCREENING

All ThermoFlexX imagers are equipped to utilize the advanced Woodpecker surface screening options: Replay, Sharp, Nano, and Nevis. Leveraging the high-resolution optics of ThermoFlexX, these screens produce finer and higher frequency patterns for the micro structures. 3 COMPONENT IMAGING HEAD

The imaging system consists of 3 independent modules: motor, optics, electronics. This flexible design allows easy replacement of any module. Furthermore, with the internal measurement cell, optical fine-tuning can be remotely conducted by one of our experts.

AUTO LOADING

The ThermoFlexX 60 can automatically load and unload plates with one touch of a button. An innovative guidance system makes sure that even thick plates, up to 6,35 mm (0.25”), can be seamlessly mounted on the drum, all automatically.
