Sales Manager Prepress

Job Summary:

The Territory Sales Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to increase XSYS market share for prepress equipment in the Americas, with a clear focus on the US. This position requires expert knowledge in the field of flexographic printing as well as proven experience in sales within the flexographic industry, ideally within the region to be supported.

Responsibilities:

• Meet yearly sales targets selling the entire XSYS Prepress Product line – both breadth and depth in accounts – while spotting & supporting sales of the entire XSYS product portfolio (plates, sleeves, adapters, related services).
• Build, maintain and oversee all aspects of customer relationships, including: sales, forecasting, technical support, and accounts receivables.
• Find and develop new customers in the designated territory to strengthen the customer base. Min 20% of reporting customers in the territory should be new customers in any given year.
• Support the sale of “bundle deals” to direct customers in the territory – XSYS as a solution provider for Plates, Prepress Equipment and other related services.
• Be accountable to increase the revenue from service contracts in the territory – 20% increase in revenue year on year as a target.
• Manage distributor relationships within the territory to maximize sales of XSYS prepress equipment.
• Effectively interact with customers as well as numerous internal functional groups, such as product management, production management, technical service and marketing.
• Create new and maintain current records and data in designated systems.
• Coordinate with Directors of Sales in North America and Latin America, and National Accounts Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and Sales Operations Managers.

Requirements:

• Must possess excellent sales skills and at least five years of experience in technical sales
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
• In-depth knowledge of laser imagers, prepress software & workflows as well as plate processing equipment in particular and of flexographic wide-web flexible and corrugated packaging printing and other print disciplines are a plus
• Must be able to travel to customer locations throughout the territory. Extensive travel required, min 2- 3 days per week on average.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; candidate must be able to effectively interact with customers, internal customer service, technical service, management, and sales team
• Good written, verbal, and reporting skills utilizing database, spreadsheet, presentation and wordprocessing software
• Must be highly motivated, proactive and self-directed
• Candidate must reside in the US and ideally within the Southeast Region. Candidate will have the ability to work remotely/telecommute. Due to travel requirements, the ideal candidate would reside in close proximity to a major airport
• Conduct all business as a representative of XSYS Global in a professional manner
• Be recognized by customers as a business consultant and trusted advisor
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus
• Must have a passion to develop a region with a lot of potential, must be highly resilient and selfmotivated

 

Start Date: Immediately

Vacation: 15 days (3 weeks), 1 personal day off
